Protecting Your WordPress Website

WordPress publishers have three seamless integration options to safeguard display ad earnings, prevent bot fraud, and protect outbound links.

Option 1: Direct Protected Link

Zero plugin installation needed. Create a protected link in your TrafficDam dashboard and use it as your destination in banner clicks or button links.

Option 2: JavaScript Snippet (Quick Header Setup)

Insert your TrafficDam snippet into your theme's header.php or using any Header/Footer code manager plugin (like WPCode):

Place this at the top of your header so it evaluates visitors before third-party ad scripts load.

Option 3: Dedicated WordPress Plugin

Install the official TrafficDam WordPress plugin for automatic protection and one-click configuration:

1. Download the plugin:
   Download WordPress Plugin (.zip)
2. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP file, and click Activate.
3. In your TrafficDam dashboard, go to Create Filter > WordPress Plugin. TrafficDam will automatically generate a dedicated API Key and display it on screen.
4. In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to TrafficDam Settings > Connect, paste your generated API Key, and save. Protection activates instantly.
