Protecting Your Blogger Blog

TrafficDam offers two straightforward ways to protect your Blogger (Blogspot) website depending on whether you want to filter specific links or the entire blog.

Method 1: Protected Links (No Theme Edits)

Best if you want to protect download buttons, affiliate links, or outbound links inside your blog posts.

1. Go to Dashboard > Create Filter > Blogger > Option 1 (Protected Link).
2. Enter your target offer or download link.
3. Place the generated TrafficDam URL inside your Blogger post buttons.

Method 2: JavaScript Theme Integration (Full Site Protection)

Best for protecting your entire Blogger site and preventing invalid bot traffic from reaching display ads (like AdSense or ad networks).

1. Verify your Blogger custom domain or blogspot subdomain under Dashboard > Domains using the Meta Tag method.
2. Go to Dashboard > Create Filter > Blogger > Option 2 (JavaScript Integration).
3. Copy your generated protection snippet.
4. In Blogger, go to Theme > Edit HTML.
5. Find the <head> tag and paste your snippet right below it, above all ad codes.
6. Click Save Theme. Your blog is now protected on every page load.
